Thiago Motta has key meeting with Juventus squad

Juventus manager Thiago Motta chaired a meeting with the squad after their Champions League exit.

According to a report by Fabiana Della Valle of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Thiago Motta called up his players for a key meeting to reassess and recuperate following Juventus’ humiliating exit from the Champions League.

Goals from Weston McKennie and Samuel Mbangula helped the Old Lady take a goal advantage on aggregate to PSV. However, the return leg proved to be a haunting one for Juventus as the hosts thumped in three to send the Italian giants out of the competition.

Shortly after this debacle, there was a huge uproar in the Juventus dressing room but things seem to have calmed down now as Motta has asked his players to shift their focus on the league. The meeting is expected to be fruitful as the club are now confident of securing a place in next season’s Champions League and staging a late Scudetto charge since they are only eight points away from the top spot.
