PSG made €93 million bid before Real Madrid signed wonderkid

November 20, 2023

Real Madrid have done an excellent job in recent years when it comes to identifying top talents from around the world, signing them and then developing them into global superstars under their watchful eye at the Santiago Bernabeu. Gone are the days when Los Blancos were looking for Galacticos. Now they are helping develop their own.

This strategy has worked out quite well. The likes of Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Eduardo Camavinga and Fede Valverde are great examples of the transfer policy succeeding.

There are high hopes for Arda Guler as well despite his recent fitness issues. And next summer, Endrick will be arriving in the Spanish capital.

Real Madrid were believed to have agreed a €60 million transfer package with Palmeiras to sign Endrick. He will join the club when he turns 18 years of age. Los Blancos were not the only ones after the Brazilian wonderkid’s signature either.

It looks like Palmeiras had received another mega offer. As tweeted out by Fabrizio Romano, PSG had a €93 million package bid rejected for both Estevao and Endrick.

Estevao is considered one of the biggest talents in Brazilian football right now. He has drawn the interest of several top clubs from around Europe despite the fact that he has not even played a single senior game.

On the other hand, Endrick has been playing at the senior level for a while now. Of course, he has had his fair share of ups and downs, as expected. Earlier in the campaign, he was going through a long goalless run and some Real Madrid fans were already questioning the decision to sign him for such an extraordinary transfer fee. But now, the Brazilian wonderkid has found his top form and scored 4 goals in his previous 4 Brazilian Serie A games.
