Frankfurt continue on with Osula chase

December 22, 2025

Eintracht Frankfurt are continuing to pursue the signature of Newcastle United striker William Osula.

Eintracht Frankfurt are continuing in their quest to bring in Newcastle United’s William Osula.

Sky Germany revealed at the start of the month that Die Adler had reached a verbal agreement with Osula over a winter move.

While Jonathan Burkardt is set to return following the winter break, Frankfurt have been keen to further bolster their attack after losing star duo Omar Marmoush and Hugo Ekitike across the two windows this calendar year.

Fresh reports from Sky Sports’ Florian Plettenberg indicate that Eintracht are locked in negotiations over a loan deal with a purchase option for the forward, who is said to want the move.

The information at the start of December was that a loan fee of around €3 million would be required, alongside a purchase option of around €20 million.

Operating as a backup option to Nick Woltemade and Yoanne Wissa, Osula has scored three goals across 15 appearances in all competitions this season, while also providing an assist in the Champions League.
