Barcelona begin exploring alternatives to Hansi Flick’s preferred target – Romano

While Alvarez continues to headline Barcelona’s transfer plans, the club recognises that Atletico’s reluctance to negotiate could ultimately force them to move in a different direction.

However, Barcelona have officially begun discussing alternative striker targets should Atletico Madrid continue to reject any approach.

President Joan Laporta, sporting director Deco and members of the coaching staff have all been involved in conversations aimed at identifying suitable options if the Julian Alvarez transfer cannot be revived.
