Atletico Madrid want Depay

According to a recent report from Sky Sports, Atletico Madrid are interested in trying to sign Memphis Depay from Barcelona.

There’s been a lot of speculation regarding the future of Memphis Depay. While some have enjoyed his time at the Nou Camp, others feel as if his best move would be to head elsewhere in order to improve his game even further.

Atletico, meanwhile, are in need of a replacement after Joao Felix opted to sign for Chelsea on loan. With Depay potentially going after a fresh change of pace, this could be the perfect move while still keeping him in Spanish football.

Many feel as if a return to the Premier League could be inevitable one day. Of course, things didn’t go to plan for him at Manchester United, and he may want to right that wrong.

For the time being, though, Spain appears to be where he is best suited.
