Why Juventus Could Play Matches This Summer With No Shirt Sponsor
With their new kits set to be unveiled, Juventus still have no agreement for a front of shirt sponsor for the 2024/25 campaign and could play some pre-season friendlies in blank kits.
The Serie A giants currently have a deal with Jeep, but that is set to come to an end on June 30, ending a partnership which began back in 2012. It must be noted here that the Jeep brand is owned by Stellantis, a multinational automotive manufacturing corporation that was formed in 2021.
That happened when Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and the PSA Group merged, and the Agnelli family own 14.4% of the new company while also having a 78.8% stake in Juventus Football Club.
With the club seeking outside investment, the decision was made not to renew the sponsorship agreement with Jeep in order to allow Juve to seek out a more lucrative alternative.
Where does Juventus’ sponsorship deal rank among the best?
Juventus were already in the top 10 of Europe’s best kit deals, with Adidas reportedly paying them €55.1 million ($59.53 million) per year until 2027. According to most reports – including the one linked in the Twitter/X post below, that would see the Turin-based side sit ninth among the continent’s elite.
