West Ham given Guido Rodriguez lifeline after developments in Spain

Guido Rodriguez could fall victim to Graham Potter’s plans for a summer rebuild at West Ham.
The 49-year-old has struggled to turn around the Hammers’ fortunes after replacing Julen Lopetegui in January.
The final two months of the campaign will give the former Chelsea manager a chance to assess his squad and decide who will be sacrificed so that he can revamp the options at his disposal and the former Real Betis man may be one for the chopping block.
Rodriguez was signed on a free transfer in the summer but has struggled to secure a place in Potter’s starting line-up.
The Argentine midfielder has featured just four times since the former Chelsea man took the reins at the London Stadium.
As a result, several Spanish clubs are keen on the 30-year-old, according to Estadio Deportivo.
The report (18 March) claims that Girona, Real Sociedad, and Villareal are interested in the veteran.
Martin Allen exclusively told West Ham Zone last week that the Irons are seeking a fee of £10million to allow the player to leave.
