Bayern Munich is down a few men

Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer did not participate in training on Sunday. Instead, the veteran worked out indoors in an effort to help keep him fresh and healthy per Sky Sport journalist Kerry Hau:

Manuel Neuer is sitting out today’s FC Bayern team training and is completing an individual program indoors. Load management before the first leg at Celtic Glasgow on Wednesday. Jonas Urbig and Sven Ulreich are working with goalkeeping coach Michael Rechner on the pitch.

When asked about Palhinha’s availability against Celtic, Bayern Munich Munich board member for sport Max Eberl told Sky Sport journalist Kerry Hau, “I don’t think so.”

It is not clear if Palhinha would have had much of role against Celtic anyway, but having him available as a depth piece would have been nice.
