Training Report: Bayern Munich’s Konrad Laimer missed training; Josip Stanišić, Tarek Buchmann work out; RB Leipzig’s walking wounded; and MORE!

Is there a right-back in the house?

Bayern Munich is short on right-backs these days (Do you have a pulse and boots? Lace ‘em up!).

With Sacha Boey and Josip Stanišić already ruled out for Friday’s Bundesliga match against RB Leipzig, Laimer missed training on Tuesday, practiced on Wednesday, and was out again on Thursday — this time, though, it had nothing to do with an injury. Instead, Laimer did not train because his wife was set to give birth per Bild (via @iMiaSanMia):

Konrad Laimer did not train with the team today as his wife Ines-Sarah is about to give birth to their first child. It’s currently unclear whether Laimer will be available against Leipzig tomorrow.

If Laimer misses the game, Raphaël Guerreiro could fill in at right-back, while Alphonso Davies takes the reins at left-back. However, Vincent Kompany did not commit to starting Davies yet (though it is expected the Canadian will get the nod).

Who’s left?

Well, if things really go south with Davies, Adam Aznou better limber up.
