Todd Boehly has spoken to PSG owner “a few times” to talk about Neymar transfer

PSG’s project is not crumbling on the pitch quite like Chelsea, but it’s not far off, and this summer it looks like Leo Messi will leave.

Julien Laurens was on Sky Sports this morning also noting that Neymar could leave, and reminding us all of Chelsea interest in the winger.

Apparently Todd Boehly has spoken to PSG owner Nasser Al-Khelaifi “a few times” in the last year about a potential deal.

The ingredients are certainly there for a big transfer, even just with the details in this video. PSG are trying to sell Neymar, Chelsea are keen to sign superstars, and need attacking players to improve the team.

But the negatives are there too – the Brazil star is currently out injured, and even if they’re trying to sell him, he’s still on a massive contract, which will be difficult for Chelsea to match if they want to keep any sort of control over their budgets.
