THANKS, FERNANDO LLORENTE! LION KING HANGS UP HIS BOOTS

February 26, 2023

Fernando Llorente has decided it is time to retire. The Spanish striker, at Juventus from 2013 to 2015, has announced his intention to bid football farewell.

92 appearances and 27 goals helped him collect six trophies on his Bianconeri adventure. Numbers and victories that allowed him to enter the hearts of Juventus fans.

“It’s a dream for me to be here,” said Fernando Llorente upon his arrival at Juve. A dream honored until the end and in every match, from the first, Sampdoria-Juventus, to the last, Juventus-Udinese. From the first goal, against Verona, to his last, again against Verona. In between, the crucial goals, such as the two scored against Real Madrid in the group stage of the Champions League 2014/15, the season that culminated with the final in Berlin.

In the years in which he wore our shirt, Llorente always gave his all, and certain things are never forgotten.

Thanks, Lion King! And good luck for the future!
