Siriki Dembele sets two exciting targets after sealing Birmingham City transfer
Siriki Dembele wants to help Birmingham City challenge at the right end of the Championship and promises to entertain the St Andrew’s crowd.
Blues made Dembele their sixth summer signing today, hot-on-the-heels of Tahith Chong’s switch to Luton Town. The 26-year-old winger has signed a three-year contract after agreeing to join the club from Bournemouth.
Having spent a season in the Championship before with Peterborough United and Bournemouth, Dembele is well versed on what to expect in the second tier. In his first interview with Blues TV, Dembele outlined his plans to help transform Blues’ onfield fortunes.
He said: “It made perfect sense to come here, it looks like it is going to be a new and exciting project, so I thought it would be a great move for me. I also spoke to Craig Gardner and the gaffer and they were really positive.
