Serie A club agree deal for €30 million Real Madrid player
Real Madrid have done a fantastic job when it comes to identifying and signing talents from all over the world. It has resulted in success stories like Vinicius Jr, Rodrygo, Fede Valverde and Eduardo Camavinga, all of whom were brought in as teenagers and have risen up the ladder to become first-team regulars.
Of course, it is a risky transfer policy. While Real Madrid have enjoyed their fair share of success, there have been quite a few moves that have not worked out along the way as well.
The signing of Reinier certainly has to fall under that category. The Brazilian wonderkid was signed from Flamengo for a transfer fee believed to be around €30 million back in early 2020.
Now 21 years of age, Reinier has not even made his debut for Real Madrid yet. He had a couple of underwhelming seasons out on loan at Borussia Dortmund, a club renowned for developing young talents. And then his spell at Girona did not turn out to be much better either.

It looks like Reinier will be heading out on loan once again. And this time, his destination is going to be Italy.
As tweeted out by Fabrizio Romano, Frosinone have reached an agreement with Real Madrid for Reinier. It is a loan deal valid until June 2024.
It will be interesting to see how Reinier does out on loan in the Serie A. He certainly has not managed to find his feet in either La Liga or the Bundesliga.
Sometimes, it is about being at the right place though. There is no question about the talent that he possesses. He just has not been able to put it all together at the senior level. He is still 21 years of age and has time on his side.
