Preston boss pinpoints Derby County difference as Harrison Armstrong says ‘it’s out of my hands’
Harrison Armstrong says his fate at Preston North End is out of his hands amid concerns Everton could recall the midfielder in January.
The former Derby County loanee scored at the weekend in a 1-1 draw against Wrexham as the Lilywhites continued their excellent start to the season.
Last week, Everton boss David Moyes said he hoped Armstrong would see out the season at Deepdale, but would assess the situation again in the New Year.
Preston would be loath to lose the talented teenager who has helped them to the top six of the Championship, with the club dreaming of a promotion challenge.
And Armstrong, who excelled during his loan spell with Derby last season, says that while he would love to stay at the club, it is a matter that is not in his control.
“Well, I think it’s out of my hands,” he said.
