Leeds are entering the contest brimming with confidence after battering Newcastle United 4-1 in their last Premier League outing.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin has been instrumental to Leeds’ impressive start.

He scored his third league goal of the season in the win over the Magpies, although he was denied a second that was credited to Jayden Bogle.

Leeds are in remarkable form, having lost just one of their last 13 league games (W6, D6).

However, they could be facing their biggest test yet as they come up against a Palace side they have struggled to beat in recent meetings.

Leeds have won only one of their last five encounters with the Eagles (D2, L2).

Farke wouldn’t want to tweak a winning team for the sake of it, but there could be at least one alteration from the League Cup line-up.

James Trafford is set to continue in goal, with an established back three of James Justin, Nico Elvedi, and Tarik Muharemovic lining up ahead of him.

Daniel James, who joined Leeds for £25 million, could make his first Premier League start in place of Jayden Bogle.

Gabriel Gudmundsson should start on the left flank while Anton Stach, Ethan Ampadu, and Ao Tanaka look to boss the midfield.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor look to have formed a dangerous attacking duo for Leeds and will hope to extend their goalscoring form in front of the home fans.
