Player Ratings Poll: Gladbach 0 – 1 Bayern Munich
An important three points for the Rekordmeister’s Bundesliga title campaign.
Bayern Munich claimed an important 1-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach on Saturday in its return to Bundesliga action.
Vincent Kompany made few changes since the tune-up friendly vs. RB Salzburg and only two substitutions in the course of the game. Bayern dominated without managing to force a breakthrough until a second-half cross from substitute Kingsley Coman found its way to Michael Olise in the box and drew a penalty, dispatched coolly by Harry Kane.
But while the chances to expand the lead were numerous, Gladbach keeper Moritz Nicolas did his best Yann Sommer impression and denied them all. A solid, if uneven performance from the Bavarians. Let’s see how you think everyone did.
