One positive in a sea of disasters: Player ratings for Milan-Atalanta from Italian papers

May 11, 2026

AC Milan’s Champions League hopes were dealt another big blow on Sunday night as they lost to Atalanta at San Siro.

Goals from Ederson and Davide Zappacosta put the away side in command going into the break, then things turned really sour when Giacomo Raspadori netted early in the second half to basically put the result beyond doubt.

While the Curva Sud walked out and the jeers rained down, there was a late fightback from Milan which saw Strahinja Pavlovic and Christopher Nkunku each score in the dying minutes. Alas, it was all for nothing as La Dea saw it out, and now top four is in grave danger.
