Napoli Preparing Mega Money Offer For Italy Star – Aiming To Beat Inter Milan, AC Milan & Juventus

May 4, 2024

Napoli are ready to make a big money offer to try and beat Inter Milan, AC Milan, and Juventus to the signing of Alessandro Buongiorno.

Today’s print edition of Rome-based newspaper Corriere dello Sport, via FCInterNews, report that the Partenopei could offer Torino €35 million plus €5 million in add-ons for the 24-year-old.

This summer, Torino defender Buongiorno will certainly be one of the hot names on the market in Serie A.

The Italian international has been one of the outstanding defenders in the Italian top flight this season.

Moreover, Buongiorno’s age also makes the player an obvious targets for the big clubs.

Buongiorno could very easily play for a decade at the level he currently is.

Therefore, it is not too surprising to see the likes of Inter, AC Milan, and Juventus keen on the 24-year-old’s signature.

Buongiorno had already been on the radar of Serie A side Atalanta last summer.

The Italian resisted La Dea’s interest to stay at Torino. However, he may not be far away from a summer move.

Napoli Prepare Big Money Offer For Inter, AC Milan & Juventus Target Buongiorno

One thing that looks clear is that Buongiorno will not come cheap.

Torino reportedly want at least €40 million for the Italian international.

That would naturally be the biggest obstacle for any of the teams in Serie A towards signing Buongiorno.

Inter, for example, see Buongiorno as having the ideal profile to replace Stefan de Vrij and Francesco Acerbi in the long term. But the Nerazzurri’s financial issues are well-known.

On the other hand, the Corriere report, Napoli may decide to make the big investment.

The Partenopei have struggled to replace Kim Min-Jae this season.

Brazilian defender Natan has never really lived up to expectations since his move to Campania.

Therefore, bolstering the defense will be a priority for Napoli this summer.

And according to the Corriere, for that reason the Partenopei are ready to make a bid worth €40 million to sign Buongiorno. That would be €35 million plus €5 million in add-ons.
