Moretto: ‘Keeping him high on the list’- Milan still interested in Real Madrid starlet Endrick

AC Milan tried to explore the possibility of signing Endrick from Real Madrid, but they did not get sufficient opening.

It looks like Milan’s reinforcement for the attacking department will be Omari Hutchinson on a loan with option to buy deal from Nottingham Forest. However, he is not the only target that has been mentioned in recent weeks.

The likes of Matias Soule, Konstantinos Karetsas and Ethan Nwaneri have been linked as targets, and there has also been talk about Endrick. While Real Madrid are very unlikely to sell the Brazilian, a loan deal could be something that benefits both sides, as happened with Brahim Diaz a few years back.

Milan to revisit Endrick
During a video update on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Matteo Moretto revealed that Milan tried for Endrick and they could go back in again during the winter.

“Milan inquired about whether there was scope for a deal with Real Madrid, but they were very cordially turned down. They appreciate Milan’s interest, but Enrick isn’t leaving; it was a decision made by Real Madrid, the player, and José Mourinho himself,” he said.

“From what we understand, Milan has let Endrick’s entourage know that if the boy were to decide to go on loan in January, or at another time, Milan would be happy with it.

“Milan are not removing his name from the list, but is keeping him high on the list for the future, should there be scope for a deal with Real Madrid.”
