Milan player ratings for Salernitana win – four players score 7 or higher
Almost all of AC Milan’s players emerged with positive marks after yesterday’s win against Salernitana at the Stadio Arechi to begin the new season.
La Gazzetta dello Sport have published their player ratings for the game (as seen below), starting with the team performance getting a 7 out of 10 and Stefano Pioli’s management earning a 6.5.
The best performer for Milan as per the paper was Sandro Tonali, earning a 7.5 as he registered an assist and a goal, while Olivier Giroud instead was the most disappointing getting a 5.
Ciprian Tatarusanu got a 6 as did Pierre Kalulu and Theo Hernandez in the back four, with Davide Calabria and Fikayo Tomori earning a 6.5 and 7 respectively.
Tonali’s midfield partner Ismael Bennacer got a 6.5, with Alexis Saelemaekers receiving a score of 5.5. Brahim Diaz and Rafael Leao both got a 7.
In terms of the substitutes, Charles De Ketelaere and Matteo Gabbia each got a 6, with Sergino Dest and Aster Vranckx not playing enough to be marked.
