Liverpool stands firm on Luis Diaz amid Bayern Munich’s £58.6m bid and potential loss of Lyon star
Liverpool are refusing to entertain the notion of selling Luis Diaz this summer, though they could be forced to lose out on a transfer target if they stick with their stance
Luis Diaz’s future at Liverpool remains up in the air, with several clubs showing keen interest in the winger. Bayern Munich have made their intentions clear, while Barcelona and Saudi Arabian officials are keeping a close eye on the situation.
However, Liverpool have consistently maintained that Diaz is not on the market. This was their response when the Spanish champions enquired, and again when the German champions followed suit.
Even when Bayern put forward their initial €67.5m (£58.6m) offer, they were met with a firm refusal.
Diaz, who is part of the 29-man squad that Liverpool have taken to Hong Kong for their pre-season fixtures, is still viewed as a key player by manager Arne Slot.
