Liverpool midfielder to join Newcastle as Alexander Isak drama rumbles on
Isaac Moran has decided to leave Liverpool and join Newcastle after rejecting a scholarship contract with the Reds.
Liverpool and Newcastle are locked in a battle over the future of Alexander Isak, but one young Red is set to make the move to Tyneside after declining a new contract at Anfield. Isak has become the headline act of the summer transfer window as he finds himself out in the cold at Newcastle, with his heart set on a move to the Premier League champions.
Newcastle manager Eddie Howe has been regularly addressing rumours about Isak’s future in recent weeks, and Liverpool have now boosted their war chest for a potential fresh bid for Isak by offloading Darwin Nunez to Saudi Arabian outfit Al-Hilal. However, far removed from the millions involved in that transaction, 16-year-old Reds midfielder Isaac Moran has chosen to depart Liverpool’s academy and join Newcastle.
