Liverpool midfielder announces Newcastle move amid Alexander Isak transfer saga

The latest Liverpool transfer news includes an update on academy youngster Isaac Moran
Liverpool academy starlet Isaac Moran has decided to leave the club for Newcastle United, amid a transfer battle between the two sides for Alexander Isak. The Sweden international has become one of the summer’s biggest transfer stories, informing Newcastle of his desire to explore options as he aims to join the reigning Premier League champions.
Newcastle boss Eddie Howe has faced daily questions over Isak’s future in recent weeks, while the sale of Darwin Nunez to Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal has boosted Liverpool with further transfer funds for a potential new bid. But away from all this, 16-year-old Moran has opted to leave the Reds academy to make the move to Tyneside.
Moran was promoted from Liverpool’s under-16s to the under-18s for the final three matches of last season, playing the full 90 minutes against Nottingham Forest, Wolves, and Sunderland. After rejecting a scholarship contract at Liverpool, Moran is set to join north-east rivals.
