Leeds United’s Largie Ramazani reflects on Daniel Farke call-out and transfer talk
Speaking to Leeds Live, Largie Ramazani says he now wants to “show the people what I can do”
Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani says he has “matured a lot” since being publicly called to increase his levels by Daniel Farke during last season’s run-in, and is aiming to prove himself again.
The Whites manager had encouraged the Belgian to “step up” his concentration and general game towards the final knockings of the last campaign. He was left on the bench for four games, seeing Isaac Schmidt used ahead of him at one point.
Ramazani took to the pitch again during the 6-0 win over Stoke City on promotion day and would go on to score twice in the subsequent 4-0 victory over Bristol City, the final home game of the campaign.
Leeds remain in the market for Igor Paixao, the left winger from Feyenoord, despite claims that Marseille were closing in on a deal. The Whites believe the door is very much still open.
Asked about whether such transfer talk stirs any worry about his personal game time next season, Ramazani said: “No, I think it’s great to have some competition in the team and then we just push every single player.
