Leeds United told price of 11-goal striker – Deal could be close
Leeds United manager Daniel Farke has indicated that he wants to add one more striker to his squad before the end of the transfer window. The fitness concerns around some of his other options mean the German is keen to have more depth in the striker department.
The Whites secured the signature of former Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin on a free transfer last week. He signed a three-year deal with Leeds and will be expected to add goals and Premier League experience to the squad this season.
Leeds are also set to announce the arrival of AC Milan winger Noah Okafor for a deal worth up to £18m. The Swiss international underwent a medical with the club on Wednesday and is expected to be in the squad to take on Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this Saturday.
Farke is aware that goals are going to be important if Leeds are to survive in the Premier League this season, and he wants as many goal scorers in his squad as possible before the window closes on September 1st.
