Kylian Mbappe ‘involved in strong discussions with PSG’ after slamming Ligue 1 giants
Kylian Mbappe’s representatives reportedly held ‘strong’ discussions with Paris Saint-Germain following his social media criticism of the Ligue 1 giants. The France international slammed his own club for using his image to promote tickets for next season. And, to many, that’s led to theories he could be about to turn his back on the Parc des Princes come the end of the campaign.
According to Sport, Mbappe’s representatives and PSG had ‘strong discussions’ to get to the bottom of the matter.
The 2018 World Cup winner has been unhappy at the club ever since signing a new contract back in the summer, leading to links with the likes of Real Madrid and Manchester United.
PSG have reportedly apologised to Mbappe and intend to ‘make amends’ – but the damage has ‘already been done’ and relations have been soured by the whole affair.
The reigning Ligue 1 giants did bow down to the 24-year-old and his demands, wiping the controversial promotional video form their accounts.
And they’re hopeful of ‘healing the problem internally’, despite Mbappe’s mood going from bad to worse.
