JUVENTUS OFFER BOLOGNA’S THIAGO MOTTA A 3-YEAR CONTRACT TO BECOME THEIR NEW MANAGER
According to Foot Mercato, Juventus have acted quickly since sacking Massimiliano Allegri yesterday, as the former Serie A champions have offered Thiago Motta a 3-year contract to become their next manager.
Despite their victory in the Coppa Italia, Allegri was sacked in the aftermath of the celebrations due to his behaviour throughout the final. Something that the Italian club referred to as “being incompatible with the values of Juventus.”
Motta’s time in charge of Bologna has seen the club secure Champions League football as the club have overperformed massively compared to their modest budget. A lot of the credit is down to Motta who has been considered to be one of the most exciting managerial talents to emerge in the game.
Juventus confident of their chances at securing Thiago Motta
Juventus are reportedly confident of their chances of securing the former Paris Saint-Germain player with the French paper suggesting that the club believe they have an 80/90% chance of securing their target.
