JUVENTUS ESTABLISH CONTACTS WITH BOLOGNA’S LEWIS FERGUSON FOR A TRANSFER

Serie A giants Juventus have contacted Bologna’s Lewis Ferguson’s agent in the last few days to discuss a potential move.
According to a report by Daniele Longo, Lewis Ferguson’s positive performances for Bologna this season have been attracting attention from around Europe, especially from league counterparts Juventus. The Scotsman has been influential in the Rossoblu’s success this campaign and his 86th-minute winner against Atalanta helped them secure a top-four place ahead of Christmas.
Four goals and three assists in 17 league appearances are significant numbers for the 24-year-old and he has a knack for popping up in the right areas in the final moments of matches.
Juventus’ sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has directly contacted the player’s entourage to discuss a future transfer as he is on Massimiliano Allegri’s wishlist for next summer. Bologna aren’t in a rush to offload Ferguson and they are expected to name a price higher than €20 million in the summer.
