Jose Mourinho makes his Roma players pose for dressing room photo after losing, it’s peak Jose
Jose Mourinho made his miserable Roma players pose for a dressing room photo after they suffered a heartbreaking defeat to Napoli on Sunday night, and it’s peak Jose.
After the Giallorossi managed to cancel out Victor Osimhen’s volley through the eternal Stephan El Shaarawy, things looked increasingly positive for Mourinho’s side, who defended admirably throughout.
But with five minutes remaining of normal time, Napoli substitute Giovanni Simeone scored to open up a 13 point-gap at the top of Serie A.
Luciano Spalletti’s side are cruising towards their first Scudetto title since 1990.
Away from Napoli’s run of form and ultimately, it was another disappointing evening for Mourinho’s men, who currently sit in sixth place after picking up 11 wins from 20.
But rather than wallow in self-pity, ‘The Special One’ decided to get his players together for a dressing room picture – a moment that got plenty of people talking on social media.
He soon took to Instagram to share his delight at the result. “What a TEAM what a SPIRIT what a PERFORMANCE. Let’s go. See you on Wednesday at the Olimpico,” he wrote, before typing the same message in Italian.
As you can see from the snap below, the likes of Tammy Abraham, Andrea Belotti and goalkeeper Rui Patrício didn’t exactly look in the mood to smile for the camera. Incredible.
