Jarrod Bowen message about West Ham ‘buzz’ speaks volumes about Graham Potter’s demise

September 30, 2025

West Ham United claimed a share of the spoils in the first match of Nuno Espirito Santo’s tenure on Monday night, with Jarrod Bowen securing a point against Everton

Jarrod Bowen believes there is a “real buzz” back at West Ham following Nuno Espirito Santo’s arrival.

Nuno was appointed as head coach on Saturday, just hours after Graham Potter was sacked following the Hammers’ dreadful start to the season, with four defeats in five matches leaving them in the Premier League relegation zone.

They remain 19th but showed their battling qualities by coming from behind to draw 1-1 at Everton on Monday thanks to a deflected strike from Bowen, who has been encouraged by Nuno’s input so far.

“There’s a real buzz about the place,” the West Ham captain said. “The first two days (Nuno has been in charge), I’ve been so impressed with him and the way he manages himself.
