Inter pushing for Frattesi after agreeing terms with Sassuolo
Inter want to avoid a repeat of the Gleison Bremer situation, so they’re working to quickly close out a deal for Sassuolo starlet Davide Frattesi, La Gazzetta dello Sport details.
The Nerazzurri were seemingly in pole position for the Brazilian defender for months last year before eventually losing out to Juventus, a painful result for Beppe Marotta and his staff.
Inter are now reportedly leading the race to sign Frattesi, who is destined to leave Sassuolo this summer, and they are keen to finalise his arrival as soon as possible.
Page two and three of today’s La Gazzetta dello Sport report that Inter have agreed to the terms of a deal for Frattesi with Sassuolo, offering a loan with an obligation to buy clause attached worth €30m plus Samuele Mulattieri, an agreement worth €35m total.
Now its up to Marotta to resolve the final issues before closing out the deal, something that has become a priority to avoid repeating the Bremer situation.
