From Adli to De Ketelaere – Milan resume work on outgoing mercato
The focus for AC Milan’s summer transfer window is starting to shift towards outgoings after an influx of new signings joined the Rossoneri.
As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, there are a number of players that are destined to leave Milan this summer and the club is working on their departures.
The likes of Yacine Adli, Junior Messias and Charles De Ketelaere could all be playing at new clubs next season.
Ante Rebic has departed for Besiktas, whilst interest in De Ketelaere is coming from Real Sociedad primarily at this stage. For Adli, Ajax has started to show some serious interest.
There is a hope that Messias could also find himself subject to a bid from a Turkish side in the very near future. Around €35 million is expected from selling De Ketelaere and Messias, whilst no figures have been reported for Adli as of yet.
Those three departures would help to deflate Stefano Pioli’s huge squad, but even more will be needed, such as Divock Origi and Alexis Saelemaekers.
