Fiorentina president Rocco Commisso has sent a message to midfielder Edoardo Bove after he collapsed during their Serie A clash with Inter Milan.

Fiorentina ace Andrea Colpani was reduced to tears as his team-mate was eventually stretchered off the field and both teams returned to their dressing rooms. Around 20 minutes later, supporters were sent home when it was announced the game had been abandoned.
“Forza Edoardo, we’re with you,” said a message from club president Commisso. “You’re a strong boy with a great character. We’re reaching out to the boy’s family during these moments.”
