FIFA XI: Bayern Munich robbed?

January 13, 2025

Bundesliga PR strikes again.

FIFA has a tradition of releasing their own customized starting XI, consisting of whom they consider to be the best in the world. Except this time around, it seems pretty clear who they’re focused on.

Re-posted by Fabrizio Romano, the recently released FIFA XI from The Best FIFA Football Awards, 2024, has absolutely no players from the Bundesliga, more importantly, none from Bayern Munich.

The lineup includes stars from the Premier League, such as Erling Haaland and Rodri, as well as La Liga, with the likes of Jude Bellingham and Vinicius Jr. One could argue that Bayern players such as Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala have had just as incredible seasons, if not better, than most of the players on that list. Kane recorded some insane stats in 2024, and it is a no-brainer that he deserves to be included in the list of best players in 2024, even more so than Haaland even.
