Exclusive: Ruud van Nistelrooy tipped for Leicester City exit as EFL return looms

Don Goodman expects Ruud van Nistelrooy to depart Leicester City before their return to the Championship.
The Foxes are heading for relegation back to the second tier after gaining promotion last year.
The Dutchman was put in charge in November, replacing Steve Cooper, but results have been hard to come by in the months since.
Leicester have lost their last seven league games in a row, and have failed to score on each occasion, leaving them 19th in the Premier League table.
Goodman expects Van Nistelrooy to leave Leicester before their inevitable return to the Championship next season.
He believes their goalless run, as well as the negative fan sentiment, makes it difficult to see a future for the 48-year-old at the King Power Stadium.
“If I’m honest, I’d be a little bit surprised if Ruud van Nistelrooy was the Leicester manager next season in the Championship,” Goodman exclusively told Football League World.
