They are one point ahead of Leipzig in fourth, who occupy the final qualifying spot, while Freiburg are fifth – just one point further back in an exciting climax to Germany’s top flight.

Next up is a trip to Borussia Mönchengladbach before a home tie with Bayer Leverkusen which will see two former Celtic stars go head to head with Jeremie Frimpong on the books of the opposition.

Juranovic has featured 13 times for his new club since departing Ange Postecoglou’s side following 18 months at the club. He’s scored four goals and provided three assists in a solid start to life in German football.
