Diomandé did not train with Real Madrid’s squad this Friday

Real Madrid’s newest signing Yan Diomandé was announced on Thursday afternoon, and although he passed his medical last night and everything went according to plan, he did not train with the group this Friday and therefore will almost surely miss Saturday’s friendly against Ferencvaros, according to a report from COPE.

Diomandé will be expected to start for Real Madrid this upcoming season, but it’s clear that he will need some time to improve his conditioning and also adapt to the team’s playing style and his new teammates. That’s why it will be important for the coaching staff to possibly give him some minutes when Real Madrid take on Deportivo La Coruña next Wednesday.
