David Moyes says he nearly signed three-time Premier League winner for Everton

David Moyes missed out on some fantastic signings during his time at Everton.

Moyes has previously gone on the record to admit that he missed out on signing Eden Hazard for the Toffees, while the gaffer also spoke about missing out on signing Harry Maguire.

Interestingly, Moyes also nearly signed Maguire for West Ham.

Now, speaking on the Royal Blue Podcast, Moyes has shared some insight on another transfer he almost completed for the Merseyside club.

Indeed, according to Moyes, he very nearly signed Robert Huth for Everton, but, instead, he went for Joleon Lescott.
