Danny Dyer names two clubs he would allow son-in-law Jarrod Bowen to join

May 30, 2026

West Ham star Jarrod Bowen is facing an uncertain future at the London Stadium following the club’s relegation to the Championship.

Despite scoring in his side’s 3-0 win over Leeds on the last day of the Premier League season, victory for Tottenham against Everton condemned the Hammers to 18th spot.

While Nuno Espirito Santo will remain in charge, the east London outfit’s drop back down into England’s second-tier has led to fans fearing that their top players could decide to move on.

As well as skipper Bowen, Mateus Fernandes, Aaron Wan-Bissaka, El Hadji Malick Diouf, Konstantinos Mavropanos, Crysencio Summerville, Taty Castellanos and Tomas Soucek have been linked with transfers away from the club.

But it is Bowen that fans are desperate to keep hold off, with the forward chipping in with 85 goals and 63 assists in 280 games since joining from Hull in January 2020.

The match-winning hero of West Ham’s Conference League final win over Fiorentina in 2023, Bowen has reached double digits for goals in each of the last five seasons.

In the aftermath of West Ham’s relegation, the 29-year-old issued an emotional social media post, where he apologised to the fans – stressing they deserve to be a top-flight team.

However, he has yet to give any indication that he will be part of their squad next campaign.

Speaking to the BBC about whether he will remain at the club, Bowen declared: “It’s still very, very raw.

“Talking about futures is disrespectful to the club, the fans, everything like that.”

talkSPORT’s chief football correspondent Alex Crook believes that Bowen will be on his way out of the club, with Liverpool cult hero Danny Murphy insisting he will be available for up to £40million.

As if the England international’s West Ham story wasn’t complete enough, Bowen is married to Dani Dyer – the daughter of iconic actor Danny – and even shares twins with the TV personality.
