Cristiano Ronaldo, Harry Kane Ahead of Kylian Mbappé in Euro Qualifying Stat PSG

Matchday 5 of the 2024 UEFA Euro qualifying is ongoing, and the top-scoring race features Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappé. The Frenchman didn’t score in France’s 2-0 win over Ireland on Thursday at the Parc des Princes. 

Nonetheless, after Friday’s action, the 24-year-old sits at the No. 3 spot (4 goals), and three players are ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup winner. So, who are they? Cristiano Ronaldo and Harry Kane are tied for the No. 2 position with five goals. 

Then, in first place is Scott McTominay with six goals. Mbappé won’t jump up the leaderboard until Oct. 13 when Les Bleus face the Netherlands on Matchday 7 at Johan Cruyff Arena. 

It wouldn’t be wild to see the PSG shoot up the top by scoring a hat-trick since he’s more capable of doing it. France has a stranglehold of Group B with 15 points. As a result, Mbappé could use the rest of the games to stat pad and have the title of highest goal scorer during the qualifying rounds.
