Bundesliga clubs interested in loaning in €30 million Real Madrid summer signing

January 6, 2024

Arda Guler has had a difficult time at Real Madrid since joining the club in the summer transfer window.

There was a lot of hype surrounding the Turkish international when he joined the club, especially after his stellar spell at Fenerbahce.

But halfway into the campaign, Guler is yet to even make a single appearance for Real Madrid. His progress has been stilted by a series of injuries.

Bundesliga clubs want to sign Guler on loan
In light of Guler’s struggles with injuries this season, Bundesliga clubs have sensed an opportunity to sign the player on loan in this January transfer window.

According to Fabrizio Romano, a host of German clubs are interested in signing Guler on a loan deal in January.

Apart from Bundesliga outfits, several European clubs are also interested in signing the Real Madrid superstar.

A host of young players in the past have sought a move to Germany in order to prove themselves at the highest level of football. In Real Madrid’s case, the most prominent example was Reinier, even though his loan spell at Dortmund wasn’t really successful.

Real Madrid have no intention of loaning Guler

However, the report suggests that Real Madrid have no intention to offload Guler anytime soon, even if it’s a loan deal.

The Spanish giants consider Guler a part of the squad. Despite his struggles with injuries, the club have retained their faith in the player and want him to make an impact in the first team soon.

Guler, in fact, has recovered fully and was notably included in the squad in the last game against Mallorca, even though he did not make an appearance from the bench.

One can expect the Turkish international to make his Real Madrid debut in the upcoming matches against Arandina, Atletico Madrid and Almeria.
