Bournemouth could bid for Villarreal’s Nicolas Jackson
Bournemouth are interested in signing Nicolas Jackson from Villarreal in the January transfer window, according to TEAMtalk. The report has claimed that the Cherries are among a number of clubs in the Premier League who are looking to make a bid for Jackson, who is a striker by trade but can also operate as a winger or as an attacking midfielder.
Jackson has been on the books of Villarreal since 2020 and has established himself as an important player in the La Liga club’s team. The 21-year-old has made eight starts and six substitute appearances in La Liga for the Yellow Submarine so far this season, scoring two goals and providing two assists in the process.
The youngster has also made two starts and four substitute appearances in the UEFA Europa Conference League for Villarreal so far this campaign, scoring one goal in the process. Jackson made one substitute appearance for Senegal at the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
