Bild: Milan interested in teenage Hertha BSC playmaker but face competition
AC Milan are interested in signing talented Hertha BSC playmaker, a report claims, but they face competition from another Bundesliga side as well as a rival.
According to a report from Bild, Borussia Mönchengladbach are keen on signing 17-year-old Hertha BSC talent Bence Dárdai but they face competition from Milan and Juventus in Italy, both of whom have scouted him for some time.
He is is the son of Pal Dárdai’s who is Hertha’s head coach having returned there in April just before their relegation back to the second tier, while Bence’s older brother Márton Dárdai currently plays in the first team.
Bence plays predominantly as an attacking midfielder and he amassed six goals and 11 assists in 21 games last season mostly at U19 level. He played in a friendly against Young Boys recently, and was among the best on the field, scoring the third goal in a 4-2 win.
The teenager also played a crucial role in Germany’s win at the U17 European Championship, netting the winning penalty in the final against France.
