Bayern Munich’s new signing Bryan Zaragoza is “very happy” to join a “big club” like Bayern
The early signs are quite positive.
It’s been a whirlwind 24 hours on the transfer news front for Bayern Munich. The sudden announcement and the silent nature of the transfer of Granada player Bryan Zaragoza took fans by complete surprise, particularly when it became clear that Zaragoza had already signed his contract. But how dizzying must it have been for the young Spaniard himself?
Having already signed his contract in complete silence, all of a sudden the announcement of his move was booming throughout the internet as Bayern fans clamored in excitement. El Chiringuito TV, who broke the news in the first place, managed to ambush Zaragoza while he was about to drive away get a statement from Zaragoza in all the excitement, which @iMiaSanMia captured.
He wasn’t especially eloquent at first. When pressed to speak on the move, he simply said “I’m very happy.” It seems he is about as expressive as Erling Haaland. The media then pressed a little further, with the talented winger eventually responding: “I’m very happy to join a club as big as Bayern and to be able to help Granada until the end of the season.”
Regardlessly of whether or not this is a practiced statement, it is nice to see that Zaragoza seems to want to help Granada, who raise him through the youth ranks and into the first team, stave off relegation. That kind of fight is admirable and the kind of thing Bayern wants to see from the club’s players.
