Bayern Munich’s Matthijs de Ligt and Jamal Musiala working hard to return

December 6, 2023

The snow might have thrown a wrench into Bayern Munich’s plans to play against Union Berlin over the weekend, but some of the injured boys are working hard to get back into the mix, despite the mountains of snow found at Säbener Straße.

Center-back Matthijs de Ligt is desperately needed back on the pitch and appears to be making solid progress in his quest to return:

De Ligt needs to get healthy and get back into form to help with the squad’s depth on the back line. With Kim Min-jae headed off for international duty in January, getting the Dutchman back as soon as possible is absolutely vital for the Bavarians.

In addition, Jamal Musiala looks like he is back to full health as well:

While there was good news for both De Ligt and Musiala, the club was still missing Noussair Mazraoui from team training. Last we heard, Mazraoui was brutally ill and was battling a sickness.
