Barcelona transfer target pressuring Blaugrana to sign him

Manchester United star Marcus Rashford is actively pushing for those behind the scenes at La Liga giants Barcelona to sanction a deal for his signature.

That’s according to Blaugrana insider Gerard Romero, who has this weekend provided an update on the situation.

The name of frontman Rashford is of course very much back in fashion at the Camp Nou at present.

After seeing a deal for first-choice winger target Nico Williams collapse at the last, Deco and co. have since shifted focus towards alternative targets.

And chief among them, it is understood, is Manchester United’s out-of-favour attacker.

Rashford is very much available for transfer this summer, no longer part of the plans of the coaching staff at Old Trafford.

And if the latest word stemming from the media on Saturday is anything to go by, the England international is evidently more eager than ever to link up with Hansi Flick’s Barcelona.

As revealed by Blaugrana journalist Gerard Romero of Jijantes, speaking on his official YouTube channel, Rashford is in an ongoing push to convince those in the boardroom at the Camp Nou to bring him in.

After the back-and-forth Nico saga, learning of such commitment to a potential Barca switch is no doubt a pleasing development for all associated with the Spanish champions.
