Barcelona star agrees terms for departure

Barcelona star Pau Víctor has on Thursday moved a significant step closer to sealing a departure from Catalunya’s capital.

That’s according to transfer insider Ben Jacobs, who has confirmed that the 23-year-old has agreed on the personal terms of a contract with SC Braga.

The name of attacker Víctor has of course taken its place centre stage in the headlines across Spain over the last 24 hours.

This comes after widespread confirmation was forthcoming that the former Girona man was the subject of a transfer offer on the part of Portuguese outfit Braga.

With Víctor now considered surplus to requirements in Hansi Flick’s squad following the arrival of Marcus Rashford, the Barcelona board, in turn, quickly sanctioned a sale.

And as alluded to above, on Thursday, Víctor, too, has given the green light to the transfer.

As per a report from journalist Ben Jacobs:

‘Understand Pau Victor has now agreed terms with Braga and will arrive from Barcelona tomorrow. Fee is €12m+€3m. It’s a club record transfer.’
