BARCELONA SENSATION ‘HAS MADE THE DECISION TO STAY’

One of the most highly-regarded up-and-coming talents on the books of La Liga giants Barcelona has made the call to commit his future to the club.

That’s according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano, who points towards Toni Fernández as the player in question.

Fernández, for his part, is a 15-year-old attacker, who has long been making waves in La Masia.

Despite his tender years, the Spaniard spent this past season lining out for Barcelona’s U18s, an established international at U17 level, too.

Recent word doing the rounds in the media that Fernández was giving consideration to a new adventure, as a result, no doubt came as a source of concern for all of a Blaugrana persuasion.

As alluded to above, though, on Sunday, an altogether more encouraging update on the situation has been forthcoming.

As per the aforementioned Fabrizio Romano, despite receiving offers from a number of clubs across the continent:

‘Barça 2008 born talent Toni Fernández has made final decision to stay at the club and sign new contract.’
