Barcelona ready to do whatever it takes to offload club outcast this summer

According to a report from SPORT, Barcelona have made a definitive decision regarding Ansu Fati’s future: the youngster no longer features in the club’s long-term plans.
The outlet mentions that the club is working actively with his agent, Jorge Mendes, to find a solution for the player’s departure—be it through a loan, a permanent transfer, or even a contract termination.
As such, the most feasible solution currently being considered is another loan move, but this time with significant conditions.
Barcelona are exploring every opportunity
It is said that Barça are hoping to extend his contract while distributing his wages across several years in order to lessen the financial burden.
This approach would make him more affordable for interested clubs and keep the door open for a future resale if he recovers form.

In that regard, one of the most serious avenues being explored is a move to the Arab leagues—specifically the UAE, Qatar, and Dubai—where clubs are more likely to meet both his salary expectations and potentially pay a small transfer fee.
No future at the club
Ansu’s situation is well understood by everyone. While the player was initially reluctant to leave, he now accepts that in order to relaunch his career and regain top form, he needs to move on from Barcelona.
In fact, Mendes is expected to explore European interest as well, where some clubs still view Ansu as a valuable addition if his wages are manageable.
Barcelona, for their part, are keeping all options on the table. They are even prepared to let him leave on a free transfer or terminate his contract—currently running until 2027—if it allows the club to save on wages.
However, they are also being sensitive to the dressing room atmosphere and understand that any final decision must be handled with care, given the player’s close ties to the squad.
