Barcelona handed good news on Marc Casado after midfielder undergoes further tests

Barcelona have reportedly received some good news with regards Marc Casado’s knee injury after conducting fresh tests.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Casado has not suffered a complete tear to his ligament and will therefore not need to undergo surgery.
The news means that there’s even a chance that Casado could potentially return before the end of the current season.
MD report Casado could potentially be fit for the final week of the league season and even a Champions League final if Barca were to go all the way.
That still seems a long way off right now but it could be good motivation for Casado as he bids to work his way back to fitness after such a disappointing setback.
Casado has been a real revelation this season after being promoted from Barca Atletic in the summer and been a key player for Hansi Flick.
It’s tough to see his season ended prematurely by injury but let’s hope it’s not a bad one and we can see him return in time to help Barca lift some trophies in May.
